This design is for serious offshore cruising with up to three crew aboard. The layout is available in two versions: mid-cockpit with accommodations forward and aft, or aft cockpit with the main cabin forward. Both feature wing berths, centerboard, kick-up rudder and full wing or open wing options. Constant Camber wood epoxy hull construction has well detailed plans that are within the capability of most amateur builders. Owner-builders have commented about the excellent performance and good sailing manners of this boat. Jim Brown considers this to be the best of Marples’ designs. Pictures taken by John Marples.
